Everyday Eye Look

Neutral Every Day Eye

I got a lot of request for a smokey eye, which was my first tutorial. But you don't really want to wear a smokey eye out to the grocery store or just to a casual dinner (or if you do, go for it!) so I wanted to share what I do on a daily basis. Most of the time, I'll just wear some eye liner and mascara if I'm not doing anything fancy. But sometimes I just wanna play in my eyeshadow ;) So here's a little tutorial for something that can be worn every day! :)

Today I used my Urban Decay Roller Girl palette. I mixed the colors "verve" & "suspect". Mixing these together gives a bronzey, silver color. I've done this look with many, many different eye shadows. You don't need this palette. Any similar colors will work just find and display the same results.
When I mix two colors, I like to use my finger. I just feel like it mixes the color together better than a brush. So I just took my finger mixed the colors, and placed it on just my eyelid. Press the color onto the lid, don't swipe.

Next, I took "NAKED" from the Urban Decay Naked Palette and applied it in the crease of my eye and little bit above the crease.

Start right where I have my brush and blend in windshield wiper motions.

Then, I took "Buck" from the same palette and blended it right on top of "Naked". The creates a gradient look, which is flattering.

It should look like this ^

Take a crease brush like this one (this is by ELF and is $3 at target)

Pick up the color "Darkhorse" and blend in onto the out "V" of your eye lid and just a little into the crease to add some depth, and darkness.

Blend this color right into the area where I have the brush and slightly bring it into the crease but not too much.

Take the fluffy brush you used earlier and just blend out any harsh lines.

Take "Virgin" and highlight your brow bone.

This step is completely optional, but I just wanted to add some sparkle to my lid. I took "Mowie Wowie" from UD and lightly pressed it onto my eyelid for some sparkle :)

Line your top lid only & do your mascara.

I decided I wanted some color on my lips today so I decided to use my "Benetint". This is a mini version, but the full version can be bought at Ulta for $28. It's a lip & cheek stain.

apply lightly annnd your done!

I've said this before, but you don't have to use all the same products I've used. The Naked palette is pricey at $50, but the shades are so neutral its easy to find lots of cheap dupes for all the colors. I hope you enjoyed this look, and as always let me know if you have any questions! Stay Pretty! :)
